Glory
There are two types of glory.
One of branches.
The other, roots.
God
please grow me
in the richness
of the darkness
framed by earth
caressed in spines
of worms.
Not in the glory
of being raised high
in a lonesome sky
to be broken
and fall
to the surface
of the beginning.
